After starting at Bolzano / Piazza Walther, the participants proceed to the San Genesio cable car, from there to the town San Genesio and on to the Möltner Kaser (mountain hut), to the Omini di Sasso (Stoanerne Mandln) stone statues. From there the participants descend, passing the Putzer Kreuz, to the finish line in the main town of Sarentino.
